Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how OT Networks processes personal data and protects your privacy, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Dutch implementing law. OT Networks is a trade name of Altijd Internet BV.

1. Who we are (controller)

Altijd Internet BV, trading as OT Networks, is the controller for the processing described here.

2. What personal data we process

• Contact & booking data — name, organisation, business email address, phone number and the content of your message, submitted through our contact form, our online booking calendar, email, WhatsApp or by phone.
• Account, contract & billing data — company details, Chamber of Commerce and VAT numbers, billing contacts and payment information needed to deliver and invoice our services.
• Service-delivery data — technical configuration data, IP addresses, device identifiers, and SIM/connectivity metadata (such as ICCID/IMSI and usage data) processed to deliver connectivity and manage your OT network.
• Security & monitoring data — network telemetry and security-event logs collected to detect, investigate and respond to security incidents.
• Website data — IP address, device and browser information, and pages visited, collected through cookies and Google Analytics tags (see section 4).

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — to deliver secure connectivity, monitoring, assessments and support, and to administer and invoice them.
• Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — to monitor and secure networks and respond to incidents, to improve our services, to carry out business-to-business outreach, and to understand website use. You may object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
• Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) — to meet tax and accounting retention duties and to cooperate with lawful orders (such as a lawful interception order).
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — for non-essential cookies and analytics where consent is required. You may withdraw consent at any time.

4. Cookies and Google Analytics

Our website uses functional cookies that are necessary for it to work, and analytics cookies. For analytics we use Google Analytics tags, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand how visitors use the site. This may involve processing your IP address and a possible transfer of data to Google, including to servers outside the European Economic Area under appropriate safeguards (EU Standard Contractual Clauses).

You can refuse or withdraw consent for non-essential cookies through our cookie banner, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Refusing analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use the site.

5. Recipients and processors

We share personal data only where necessary, with:

• Microsoft — email, Microsoft 365 and our online booking service;
• Our EU datacentre and hosting providers — for our secured network stack;
• Security and monitoring tooling — such as FortiAnalyzer and PRTG, used to monitor your environment;
• Telecommunications carriers — to deliver connectivity and SIM services;
• Google — for website analytics;
• Our accountant and payment providers — for invoicing and bookkeeping.

Where you contact us via WhatsApp, WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Meta) processes that communication as an independent controller under its own terms. We conclude processor agreements with our processors.

6. International transfers

We keep personal data within the European Union wherever possible. Some processors (such as Google, Microsoft and Meta) may transfer data outside the European Economic Area; where they do, the transfer is covered by an adequacy decision or EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Retention

We keep personal data no longer than necessary for the purposes above. Billing and tax records are kept for seven years to meet Dutch statutory retention requirements. Contact and prospect data are kept until they are no longer needed or you ask us to remove them. Security logs are kept for a limited period appropriate to their purpose.

8. How we protect your data

Security is our core business. We apply technical and organisational measures aligned with IEC 62443, including network segmentation, firewalling, encryption in transit, access control and continuous monitoring, to protect personal data against loss and unlawful processing.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact our Privacy Officer at privacy@ot-networks.eu. We respond within one month.

10. Complaints

If you believe we process your personal data unlawfully, we ask you to contact us first so we can help. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on our website, with the date of the latest update shown at the top.
